Chef Jeff’s Grommet Truffle Oil Shepard’s Pie
1 lbs ground Lamb
1 lbs ground Sirloin
1 1/2 pound of potatos
1 cup of fresh hulled Peas
1 cup of fresh slivered Carrots
1/4 cup of minced Onion
2 table spoons of minced Garlic
3 table spoons of Cold Pressed Olive oil
1/2 tea spoon of White Truffle Oil
1/2 cup of Guinness
Boil the Potatoes till soft the night before. Remember you making mashed Potatoes!
Rice and Whip your Fresh Mashed Potatoes (Salt to Taste)
Now to the Cooking!
Pre-Heat oven to 375 degrees
Star by clarifying the Onion and Garlic in a skillet
Add the Lamb, Sirloin, Peas and Carrots
Add the Guinness, and sip the rest slowly ;-)~
Cook till slightly moist
Spread the cooked meat in your dish evenly
Spread the mashed potatoes on the meat (Being careful not to mix them)
OK!! NOW! drip the Truffle oil on the back of a tea spoon to dress the Potatoes ;-)~
Put your dish in the Oven and Bake till the edges turn brown
Scoop out carefully for plating (Garnish as desired) and best served with a bucket of Jameson on the Rocks ;-)~
